Jane & Jo's Story

Hey y'all! I'm Kenzie, the founder of Jane & Jo Sewing Company. My company's story begins when I was a little girl, watching my mom sew in her craft room. She taught me all the basic stitches, as well as the ins and outs of sewing machines. Flash forward, I'm 21 years old, and I was gifted my late grandmother, Betty Jo Kerby's, sewing machine. I hadn't sewn in years, but it was like riding a bike for me. In 2025, I was sewing anything and everything I could! From tote bags, to hemming pants, creating dresses, and everything in between. 

In November 2025, I officially launched my store, and started selling Christmas Stockings! I spent weeks designing them, shopping for the perfect fabrics. Before I even sold my first one, I knew this is exactly what I want to be doing in life! Today, I'm spending all of my free time planning the future of Jane & Jo Sewing Co. and how I can inspire others through sewing and selling unique handmade accessories.
